Germany's Military
Germany's military was unstoppable. As Hitler was preparing for WWII his army became known as "Blitzkrieg". This meant the lightening war, where they would attack quickly, strong and swiftly crushed all opposition with an over whelming force. They were trained well and had large numbers. Their air force out numbered Britain's four to one and allowed troops on the ground to move in faster as the planes destroyed everything first.
